TEE Leak Testing Kit & Accessories

Beyond patient safety concerns about micro-shock hazards, performing electrical leakage tests on diagnostic ultrasound transducer can identify faults in shielding that indicate the need for repair at a lower cost to the user. Failing to test and waiting for more obvious indications of transducer failure may require significantly higher repair or transducer replacement costs.

A standard TEE tester kit includes the leakage tester, conductivity probe, and Cidex^® compatible soak tray. In addition to the standard test kit, an adapter must be used in conjunction with the standard kit and the ultrasound machine. Adapters are sold according to the ultrasound system.
